Sixth meeting - Thessaloniki 

During the five-day meeting held from September 28 to October 2, 2020, in Thessaloniki, at the premises of MOKUME art studies, a meeting of the European Erasmus+ project "El Futuro es Nuestra Joya" took place.

The meeting was organized as a training and educational visit for partner delegations from Madrid, Italy, and Volos, each consisting of one teacher and four students.

As part of the meeting, MOKUME art studies organized workshops on the techniques of maltesing, linoleum printing, and mokume gane. The participants also visited the Bord de l'Eau silversmithing workshop, the GemLAB gemmology laboratory, as well as the Archaeological Site of Pella and the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Vergina.

At the same time, the travelling Jewelry Exhibition of the second year of the project was hosted, presenting jewelry creations by students from the partner schools.

In parallel with the meeting, the partners also carried out the review of the project’s second year and discussed the overall planning of exhibitions, activities, and the workshop training of students during the mobility activities planned for the third year of the project.
