visual art seminars

Painting seminar

The aim of the seminar is to explore different ways of expression, the various materials and techniques alongside the understanding of the basic concepts of painting, the acquaintance with the phenomenon of art on a theoretical basis and the development of the students' skills.

The course includes discussions on composition, drawing, color theory, realistic and non-realistic representation, modern art movements and avant-garde practices, as well as the evolution of artistic techniques and themes from the Renaissance to contemporary art. In addition, participants will be introduced to the process of art criticism and the analysis of works of art, examining the development of these practices throughout art history up to the present day.

The seminar is recommended for both beginners and individuals (architects, designers, photographers, and other creative professionals) who wish to expand and enrich their existing knowledge. Participation in a painting seminar offers the opportunity to develop essential skills in visual perception, artistic expression, and creative thinking. Through systematic practice, participants learn to approach challenges from multiple perspectives, explore alternative solutions, and cultivate decision-making skills within the creative process.

At MOKUME art studies, the educational approach emphasizes experiential learning and free artistic exploration, encouraging self-confidence and personal expression. Through this journey, participants discover new aspects of themselves, broaden their horizons, and engage meaningfully with the joy of creative practice.
