Introduction to watchmaking

The aim of the seminar is to provide participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge required in the field of watchmaking, serving as a solid foundation for their professional development.

Seminar topics:

  • Identification of the external parts of a watch

  • Recognition and classification of watch batteries

  • Use of measuring instruments and tools for battery testing

  • Replacement of watch crystals and components

  • Water-resistance testing

  • Replacement and adjustment of bracelets, straps, and spring bars

  • Final inspection and quality control of the watch’s appearance

The seminar combines theoretical instruction with practical training, enabling participants to develop the essential skills required for the maintenance and servicing of quartz watches.


Can I attend the seminar individually / alone?

No. It is necessary to create a group of at least 4 people.

Maximum number per group 8 people.

When do the seminar classes take place?

Τhe seminar usually takes place in January. The detailed program is announced at the beginning of each academic year.
