Black & white - negative linoleum printmaking seminar

The aim of the seminar is to familiarize participants with the tools and materials of linoleum printmaking through the processes of carving and printing, while developing an understanding of the aesthetic qualities and expressive possibilities of the material.

At the same time, the course focuses on the development of each participant’s personal artistic language through the practical application of fundamental techniques.

Throughout the lessons, the relief printing technique will be introduced, analyzed, and practiced in two forms:

  • Black & white

  • Negative

In addition, participants will be introduced to the basic principles of organizing a simple personal printmaking studio, enabling them to continue their creative practice independently.


Can I attend the seminar individually / alone?

No. It is necessary to create a group of at least 4 people.

Maximum number per group 8 people.

When do the seminar classes take place?

The seminar usually takes place in March. The detailed program is announced at the beginning of each academic year.
