Gemmology alumni workshop

A specialized Level II Gemmology Seminar designed for graduates who wish to deepen their knowledge and further develop their skills in the field of gemstones.

Seminar Topics:

  • Microscope use and observation techniques

  • Enhancement treatments in emeralds

  • Enhancement treatments in corundum

  • Enhancement treatments in diamonds

  • Determining diamond clarity grades and identifying synthetic diamonds

The program places emphasis on hands-on practice and an in-depth understanding of modern gemmological analysis techniques through direct examination and study of high-quality gemstones.


Can I attend the seminar individually / alone?

No. It is necessary to create a group of at least 3 people.

Maximum number per group 6 people.

Priority is given to graduates of the Gemmology Seminars offered by the MOKUME art studies. Graduates of the Gemmology Seminars offered by the ELKA School, as well as graduates of gemmology schools abroad, are also eligible to apply.

When do the seminar classes take place?

The seminar usually takes place from April to May. The detailed program is announced at the beginning of each academic year.
