Erasmus+ as Hosting Organization
During 2026, our school hosted students and educators from Belgium and Spain through Erasmus+ mobility programs. This enriching collaboration provided participants with the opportunity to learn and develop specialized silversmithing techniques that form an integral part of our educational activities.
From 26 January to 20 February 2026,
three students from IATA Namur (Belgium) attended an intensive training program focused on the techniques of Granulation, Reticulation, and Mokume Gane. Upon completing their training, they successfully presented a collection of jewelry pieces, demonstrating their mastery of these demanding and highly artistic techniques.
From 25 February to 11 March 2026,
two additional students from the same institution participated in a specialized training program. During their stay, they received instruction in Wire Mesh, Filigree, Mokume Gane, and Wax microsculpture . At the end of the mobility period, they showcased remarkable jewelry creations that reflected both their creativity and the skills they had acquired.
From 20 to 24 April 2026,
our school welcomed two teachers from the Escuela de Arte Roberto Orallo (Cantabria, Spain). The educators took part in a professional training program dedicated to the Mokume Gane technique, fostering the exchange of expertise, knowledge, and best practices between our institutions.
